About Great Harwood Cemetery
The Great Harwood Cemetery is located on Blackburn Road, BB6 7LU.
The cemetery opened in 1887 and to date more than 17,585 burials have taken place. The cemetery has two sections, old and new, which are divided by a central road.
The new section was opened in 1947. There are areas for Church of England, (including Non-Conformists) and Roman Catholic.
The gates to the cemetery remain open at all times.
