Community Safety Partnership (CSP)
Welcome to the Community Safety Partnership
The Hyndburn CSP has been in existence since 1998 and includes a range of organisations from the voluntary, community and statutory sectors. Their aim is 'to make Hyndburn a safer place to live, work and visit by working in partnership.
There are clear advantages of working in partnership such as agreeing and sharing common aims, objectives and targets, sharing resources and improving communication with the public. By working together we can aim to solve problems to reduce crime, disorder and anti-social behaviour in a more efficient and effective manner.
Some of the partner organisations involved in Hyndburn's Community Safety Partnership Steering Group are:
- Hyndburn Borough Council
- Lancashire County Council
- Lancashire Fire and Rescue
- Lancashire Constabulary
- Lancashire Police Authority
- Hyndburn and Ribble Valley PCT
- Government Office North West
- Victim Support
- Witness Support Service
- National Probation Service
- Lancashire Drug and Alcohol Action Team
- Lancashire Youth Offending Team
- Hyndburn Community Network
