Local blind and visually impaired children visited Blackpool Illuminations on Friday for a special verbal and tactile guided tour of the famous lights.
The visit was made possible with help from a £210 boost to the Visually Impaired Children's Society.
Cllr Gareth Molineux, Hyndburn Council's Disabled Persons Champion, presented the charity with a cheque for £210, along with County Councillor Carolyn Evans.
Cllr Molineux, who accompanied the children on the visit said; "I was honoured to be invited along on the trip and we all had an amazing time."
Jane Dawson who runs the society said; "The children had a wonderful time, starting with a fish and chips supper followed by a special verbal and tactile guided tour of the illuminations and a horse and carriage ride. We are really grateful for the donation which helped fund the trip."
