We now have an exciting opportunity for two experienced Food and Safety Officers to join our team.
We are looking for enthusiastic, innovative and qualified professionals to carry out food hygiene and health and safety inspections at a variety of premises within the Borough along with service requests, complaints, accident and infectious disease investigations. If you are as passionate about delivering results, we’d like to hear from you.
Applicants must have specific operational experience within the food / health and safety industry. Holding a degree in Environmental Health or equivalent or hold a higher certificate of food premises inspection and registered with EHORB you must be able to demonstrate you meet the relevant competencies detailed in the Food Law Code of Practice.
You will need to demonstrate highly effective communication skills both in person and in writing, a good working knowledge if IT systems, manage your own workload to strict deadlines. It is essential that you have a flexible attitude to working, be open to new ideas whilst ensuring the Council continues to deliver an effective and high quality service.
