Service Outline
Council Pest Control Officers will deal with pests that are harmful to public health. Rats, mice, cockroaches, fleas, bed bugs and other insects can be particularly unsettling due to their possible transmission of diseases. The Council will normally deal with these pests within 5 working days.
There is no charge to domestic households for treatments for rats and mice, but a nominal charge is made for all other pests.
Commercial contracts are available for businesses - please contact the Pest Control Manager for a survey and individual price.
