- Start-up loans provide government-backed, unsecured personal loans from £500 to £25,000 to start or grow a new business. They provide 12 months of free mentoring to successful loan recipients, as well as exclusive discounts on many business products, plus there is free support and guidance is available during the application process, to help write a business plan and create a cash flow forecast.
- The British Business Bank provides financial advice and support as well as access to a wide range of external finance options ranging from loans through to equity finance.

- The Regional Talent Engines programme is a six-month pre-accelerator programme for early-stage founders in Northern England, Northern Ireland and Wales to transform great ideas into new engineering start-ups.
The programme helps innovators get their business off the ground and ready for further growth, with a £20k grant and a unique package of training, mentoring and networking.
We are looking for experienced engineers or skilled tech professionals who want to set up their own business in their local region. - Rosebud enables Lancashire’s most ambitious businesses to grow.Rosebud offers a range of financial and growth support services, including tailor-made finance packages for companies across Lancashire who are looking to grow and scale.
Eligible businesses can borrow from £25k with interest rates up to 14%, for up to five years.
