This was undertaken on behalf of the Council by Penny Bennett Landscape Architects to assess the landscape and visual impacts of sites on the edge of the urban area which the Council propose for allocation in the Local Plan. The report was undertaken in two stages: firstly an overall assessment of the likelihood of undue landscape and visual effects; and secondly detailed assessments of the sites in accordance with established methodology. The report also identifies mitigation measures to address potential impacts that may arise from the development of the sites.
