At 11 am on the 11^th Day of the 11^th month, the nation will pause for two minutes to reflect on the sacrifices of our service men and women from conflicts past and present.

Members of the public are invited to join the Mayor, Councillor Abdul Khan and Members of the Royal British Legion and Council at the War Memorial on Church Street, Accrington at 10.45am to mark the two minutes silence, which will start and finish with a maroon flare at 11am.
