Armistice Day 2023
On the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month in 1918, the First World War ended.
In the years that have since followed, the 11 November, or Armistice Day, has been dedicated to coming together in our local communities, and as a nation at large, to remember all of the service men and women who have made sacrifices in conflicts, both past and present.
With support of the Royal British Legion, a series of services and parades will be taking place around the townships of Hyndburn to mark both Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday.
