Local people living with dementia or memory impairment, or caring for someone with dementia or memory impairment are invited along to the next Hyndburn Dementia Hub drop in session on Thursday 12 April. 

Highlighting the continued success of the Hyndburn Dementia Hub, the next free drop-in session will run on Thursday 12 April, 11 am until 2:30 pm at Clayton le Moors Baptist Church, Sparth Road, Clayton, BB5 5PZ. No booking required!

This drop in session features guest speaker Faxi Assi from Lancashire Fire and Rescue giving a talk on “Safety innovations for people living with Dementia”

There will be the opportunity for an informal chat and some light Easter themed refreshments in a welcoming environment, all free of charge. Professionals will be on hand with lots of advice and to answer questions. There will also be lots of information about therapies available including walking and gardening for health, the new “Memory Catchers” project, Art Therapy, and falls prevention.
