Leeds Liverpool Canal

General information

One of Hyndburn’s assets is the Leeds to Liverpool Canal which winds its way through many of the local towns. The central location is at the end of Church Street in Church and marked by a small seating area. The canal is home to many local residents including Grey Herons, Swans, Mallards, Canada Geese and Rabbits. Lurking below the murky waters reside Roach, Perch, Bream and Pike.
