Draft revised statement of Licensing Policy Consultation
Under the Licensing Act 2003, as the Licensing Authority, we are required to produce a Statement of Licensing Policy, which sets out how we have interpreted the Act and the basis on which decisions are to be made, every five years.
The existing Policy came into force I September 2017 and it will require revising during 2022 in order for it to take effect from September 2022.
From 27 April 2022 to 22nd June 2022 we are consulting on our draft revised Statement of Licensing Policy and the changes that have been proposed.
Your views are important in allowing us to reach a fair and proportionate Licensing Policy and we hope that you will be able to consider the draft document and offer any comments that you may have on it.
In order to assist respondents we have produced a summary of changes that have been made to the Policy and a consultation proforma to enable a reply to be sent to us.
Should you have any comments as regards this Licensing Policy please send
them via e-mail to licensing@hyndburnbc.gov.uk or letter to the following address –
