Council are calling for bids to revive former community centre.
Hyndburn Borough Council are inviting bids to lease the former Hippings Vale Community Centre in Oswaldtwistle and are open to a wide variety of uses and ideas. With a large community hall, meeting rooms, kitchen, car park and toilets it could be suitable for a range of uses including offices or community group meetings.
Cllr Miles Parkinson OBE, Leader of the Council said:
“This is a fantastic space in a great location that could become a key asset to a local business or community group. I would urge anyone interested in taking charge of this facility to get in touch to view it and find out more.”
The building and facilities are located on Harvey Street, Oswaldtwistle, BB5 3LT – approximately two miles south-west of Accrington Town Centre.
