Accrington Market have welcomed small businesses and start-ups to test their products inside the historic market hall. The first pop-up event, held on Saturday 10th July, saw one stall sell out within the first hour of opening as shoppers queued out the door to buy the baked goods.
After a resounding success Accrington Market have announced they will be offering the opportunity for pop-up stalls every Saturday going forward, at a cost of just £20 per stall.
Sameena King, Manager at Accrington Market said:
“We are really pleased with the success of our first pop-up stall weekend and can confirm we will be running this every Saturday inside Accrington Market. It has been a pleasure to give small businesses and start up’s the opportunity to test their product and the feedback from shoppers has been wonderful. We are on the lookout for unique small businesses, craft stalls and street food traders to join our community of stall holders.”
At the first pop-up event stalls included bath bombs and cosmetics, personalised gifts, homeware and baked goods. The pop-up stalls sat alongside the wide variety of traders and eateries inside the market hall.
