Thanks to collaborative working from Lancashire County Council, NHS and Hyndburn Council the vaccination bus has booked to come back to Accrington.

The Covid-19 vaccination bus, located on Accrington Town Square, will be open 10:00am to 4:00pm on Thursday 13th October, Thursday 27th October and Friday 28th October 2022. No appointment is needed, people aged 12+ are invited to come along for their first, second or booster jab. If anyone is not sure about their eligibility they can check online at nhs.uk or come along and ask the team on the day.

Cllr Miles Parkinson OBE, Leader of Hyndburn Council, said:

“It is fantastic news that the vaccination bus is coming back to Hyndburn. As we enter the colder months it is really important everyone who is eligible gets their next vaccination. This not only helps to protect family and friends, but helps protect the wider community and local economy.”
