Introduction
National Non Domestic Rates (NNDR), also known as business rates are charged on non-domestic or commercial properties and help fund local services.
Commercial properties are given a rateable value by the Valuation Office Agency. This rateable value is then multiplied by figures set by the Government to produce the annual bill for the property. Any adjustments to the rateable value of a property are dealt with by the Valuations Office Agency. The most recent ratings list was produced in 2017 and was based on 2015 values.
If you wish to appeal against the rateable value of your commercial property, please contact the Valuation Office Agency.
