Budget Announcements 2020

The Chancellor announced at the Budget held 11 March 2020 a number of temporary measures that would provide additional business rate support to some small businesses.

In response to COVID-19, the Government have announced amendments to the temporary measures that had been previously announced by the Chancellor.

Government has published information in relation to details of some these temporary measures and how these will be administered. We are working our way through the guidance that has been provided in order to implement the relevant changes to Business Rates.

We will contact all ratepayers that may be affected by the Budget announcements when further details are available.
