Will an Application be Decided by the Planning Committee?
Most planning applications are dealt with by planning officers under the Council’s Delegated Power arrangements; however some applications are decided by a meeting of the Planning Committee. You will be informed by your planning officer if your application is going to the Planning Committee.
To see if an application is going to the Planning Committee check the agenda for the next meeting date using this link to Planning Committee meeting timetable. If there is no agenda next to the meeting date it has not yet been published so please check again nearer the date. The agenda is normally published in the week before the meeting.
