APPLICATION FOR THE REVIEW OF A PREMISES LICENCE
Hyndburn Borough Council as the relevant licensing authority, pursuant to sections 3 and 12 of the Licensing Act 2003, hereby GIVE NOTICE that it has received an application for review of a premises licence in respect of the premises known as
THE DUKE OF WELLINGTON, QUEEN STREET, GREAT HARWOOD
Any person or responsible authority may make representations in respect of the application which must be provided, in writing, to the Licensing Section, Hyndburn Borough Council, Scaitcliffe House, Ormerod Street, Accrington, BB5 0PF. Such representations must be received by the Licensing Section no later than 30 JULY 2020.
The grounds for review are that the licensing objective relating to the prevention of Crime and Disorder have not been promoted at the above-mentioned premises evidenced by breaches of licence conditions and lockdown regulations.
The register containing a record of the grounds for review can be viewed on Hyndburn Borough Council’s internet website.
It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application punishable with a maximum fine of £5000 on summary conviction.
