Information for Hosts
Have you signed up to be a host/sponsor under the Government’s Homes for Ukraine Scheme and been matched with a family who have had their visas approved?
If you have not already been in contact with a member of the team at Hyndburn Borough Council please get in touch by e-mailing email@example.com to let us know the expected arrival date of your guests. You can also contact us this way to ask any questions.
You are invited to join our Facebook support group ‘Hyndburn Ukrainians and Hosts’ to connect with others in a similar situation.
Hyndburn Borough Council will be in touch to conduct your housing inspection, invite you to local networking groups and signpost you to the additional support available locally.
Local organisation, Maundy Relief, are hosting weekly networking meetings for Ukrainian guests and host families. For information please email: firstname.lastname@example.org or come along to the next meeting. The weekly networking meetings are Thursday, 10.30-12.30 at 36 Abbey Street (above Maundy’s furniture shop).
