Cabinet Action Fund Application Form

Cabinet Action Fund – Supporting Hyndburn’s Communities

The Cabinet Action Fund (CAF) is designed to provide vital support to residents and help meet the needs of communities across Hyndburn.

We invite charities and community groups in all wards to apply for grant funding for projects up to £1,000, but will consider larger proposals on an individual basis. These grants are intended to support well-established, constituted organisations that hold a designated bank account (Any charities or organisations applying for the CAF grants must have a bank account in the name of the charity or organisation).

What can the funding be used for?

The Cabinet will consider applications that aim to:

  • Support voluntary organisations or key service providers under pressure;
  • Deliver community events that bring people together;
  • Address urgent or emerging needs within local communities.

Funding may be awarded for both revenue and capital purposes but cannot be used for projects that would create ongoing costs or maintenance obligations for the Council unless these can be met from existing budgets.

How to apply:

To apply, simply complete the application form (Cabinet Action Fund Application Form Downloads), outlining:

  • The amount of funding requested
  • What the funding will be used for
  • The costs of the project
  • The bank details of the organisation

Please send the completed application form to Grants@hyndburnbc.gov.uk
