Christmas is coming to Hyndburn, and light switch-on events are happening across the Borough! All events are free to attend, and everyone is welcome to join in.
The festivities kick off in Clayton-Le-Moors on the 25th November, followed by the big Accrington event organised by Amazing Accrington on the 27th featuring East 17, and Baxenden on the 28th. The following week will see light switch-on events in Milnshaw, Oswaldtwistle, Great Harwood and Rishton. The festivities will culminate with events in Fern Gore, Church, Huncoat and Altham.

- Clayton-le-Moors: Tuesday 25th November, 6:00pm, Clayton-le-Moors, Barnes Square.

- Milnshaw: Tuesday 2nd December, 5:30pm, Dyke Nook Gardens.
- Oswaldtwistle: Thursday 4th December, 6:00pm, Jubilee Gardens.
- Great Harwood: Friday 5th December, 6:30pm, Towngate Square.
- Rishton: Saturday 6th December, 3:30pm, High Street outside Library.
- Fern Gore: Monday 8th December, 6:00pm, Junction of Rimington Avenue & Fern Gore Avenue.
- Church: Tuesday 9th December, Blessing of the Crib, 5.30pm, Manor Gardens, Dill Hall Lane, Light Switch On 6.00pm, Bank Street Community Gardens.
- Huncoat: Wednesday 10th December, 6:30pm, Junction of Lowergate Road and Altham Lane.
- Altham: Thursday 11th December, 6:00pm, Burnley Road, Worker’s Memorial.
These community events are organised by volunteers and local councillors, proudly supported by Hyndburn Borough Council.
