GAMBLING ACT 2005 REVISED ‘STATEMENT OF PRINCIPLES’ POLICY

 

Under section 349 of the Gambling  Act 2005 Hyndburn Borough Council are required as the Licensing Authority to produce a gambling ‘Statement of Principles’, which sets out how we have interpreted the Act and the basis on which decisions are to be made, at least every three years. The Policy has been reviewed and a consultation took place from 15^th July 2024 to 30^th September 2024.  Following the consultation period a final Statement of Principles has been produced. .

In accordance with Regulations, notice is given that the revised Statement will be published on 4^th December 2024 and will come into effect on 6^th January 2025 . Copies can be viewed at;
