Mercer Hall Pool

I visited the pool this morning and spoke with the building manager who would welcome a diverse new use of the pool area. Click this link to view pictures of the pool MERCER HALL POOL PICTURES

• The pool is only available for use in the new year. (February Half Term could be considered alongside any other weekend in the new year up to 31^st March).
• The access down into the pool would need to be considered.
• The acoustics would need to be considered.

Town Centre Outline

• The town centre outline has been revised and the panel have approved a wider town centre area. Please click here to see new outline
• Bank Mill House could now be considered as a venue.

Request for Proposals Deadline  

Please contact me if you are struggling to get your proposal to us. We could extend by a week, however please note that this will delay any applications to ESAG and LCC and therefore any event dates.

REQUEST FOR EVENT PROPOSALS – GREAT HARWOOD 2024-2025

Hyndburn Borough Council are seeking to issue grants to event provider(s), to aid in the organisation and management of three events in Great Harwood, through the period of October 2024- March 31st 2025. These events must be held on Great Harwood’s high streets, could have additional funding other than that of the Council’s Accelerator Fund Grant, and must be designed to benefit the businesses within the high street area.

The purpose of this commission is to run events that allows the organiser(s) to promote Great Harwood’s high streets, and raise awareness to prospective visitors and increase footfall from the wider Hyndburn, East Lancashire and North West community. The deadlines are particularly short, and event dates are near. Please ensure you have the capability of meeting these deadlines when submitting any proposals.
