Following their appointment to complete the construction works at Wilson Sports Village, Universal Civils & Build have been advancing the project since January. Their efforts have not only focused on construction but also on building strong community links.
March Progress:
- External Brickwork and Cladding: Significant progress has been made on the external brickwork and cladding, enhancing the structural integrity and aesthetic appeal of the facility.
- Fit-out of the Plant Room: The plant room has been fitted out, ensuring that essential mechanical and electrical systems are in place.
- Internal Walls and Steel Painting: Internal walls have been constructed and painted, and steel structures have received a protective coat of paint.
- Pool Slabs and Preparation for Tiling: The pool slabs have been laid, and preparations for tiling are underway.
Upcoming Work in April and May:
- Internal Screeding, Plastering, and Tiling: Internal screeding, plastering, and tiling will commence, contributing to the interior finish of the facility.
- Completion of Brickwork: The remaining brickwork will be completed, finalising the external structure.
- Installation of Solar Panels: Solar panels will be installed, supporting the project’s commitment to sustainability and renewable energy.
