Total number of fraud cases investigated –  6 non-benefit fraud. Benefit fraud investigation is carried out by the Department for Work & Pensions.

Number of occasions we used our powers under the Prevention of Social Housing Fraud (Power to Require Information)(England) Regulations 2014 – 0 (These Regulations relate to the subletting of social housing. However, the Council is not a social landlord having previously transferred its housing stock to Hyndburn Homes)
