Hyndburn Pest Control Team shortlisted for National Award
The Pest Control Team at Hyndburn Council will celebrate this summer at the National Pest Awards 2024, having been shortlisted for Local Authority of the Year for their pest control operations, for the second consecutive year.
The National Pest Awards, organised by Pest magazine and supported by BPCA, NPTA, and Basis, is an annual awards ceremony dedicated to celebrating the very best in professional pest control across the UK.
Whilst competition was extremely tight to get to the finals, Hyndburn Borough Council are thrilled to reach the finals and are looking to go one better after finishing as runner-up last year.

The ‘Local Authority of the Year’ category is an award that acknowledges the work of a Local Authority pest control operation – like the Pest Control team within Hyndburn Borough Council’s Environmental Services – and recognises the commitment of the team to consistently go above and beyond the call of duty, with a real focus on skill development and progression.
