Comprehensive improvements are crucial to transforming Brookside into a welcoming, accessible place for everyone to enjoy. Our proposals are in direct response to community feedback, and we will continue to ensure that local voices are heard and their needs met.

It’s an ambitious project, but here is a flavour of what we plan to offer in the future:

  • Fully restored footpaths with mobility access, benches and signage
  • Blue badge parking spaces
  • A fully accessible raised boardwalk with viewing platform overlooking the lodges
  • New cycle and horse riding routes
  • An eco-information centre – in the village or a green building on site
